There are so many layers of bullshit in that analysis it’s ridiculous. Yeah, there are some strange and problematic things in Harry Potter, but where is all this rape coming from? There was one canonical rape in the series: Merope on Tom Riddle Sr. To read rape into the the fates of Dolores Umbridge and Arianna is twisted—it’s projecting the fears and prejudices of the critics onto Rowling. Perhaps the OP is a rape survivor and her fears are understandable, but projecting that onto the author doesn’t help anything, it only perpetuates rape culture by assuming rape as the default ‘grizzly fate’.
TBH, before I knew Umbridge survived, I had assumed the Centaurs just took her back to her village and murdered her.
